What are common dental diseases?
There are 3 most common dental diseases found in cats including: gingivitis, periodontitis, and tooth resorption.
- Gingivitis: it’s a condition of inflamed gum causing red, swollen and very painful. Reason is because the exceeding plaque on cats’ teeth is not regularly removed, so it will migrate deeper to the teeth base and eventually to the subgingival region.

We have a cat’s litter box cleaning routine at The Tails Zone, which all cat owners can take as reference.
Before a new boarding:
- Previous used litter box will be sanitised carefully with water and soap. No chemical is used to not harm cats’ sensitiveness.
- Replace with 100% fresh litter to assure safety for each cat.
During boarding journey:
- Scoop out clumping litter twice per day in normal situation or more if excessive cat waste is detected.
- Wash the litter scoop with soap after each time.
- Clean the cover daily if there is any cat waste stain.
